Ok, where do I begin? Started out early to beat the heat, but living in Florida should have know better it was still hot. So we parked the car in the middle of the roundabout, and started hiking. Thought to myself this shouldn't be to bad, got to the first fork in the path and went one way, well that wasn't the right way after about 600 yards it kinda came to a end. So instead of retracing our foot steps, decide to be Tarzan and chopped our way through the woods, after about 30 minutes of stomping though the woods and pushing over dead trees just by leaning on them, we finally made it back to the path. Once we got back on track it was pretty simple to find the cache. Then we had the long hike back to the car, oh by the way did I mention the vulture's circling overhead, if you don't get any hints out of this log do yourself a favor and bring along a couple of bottles of water, believe me even at 92 degree's that mile hike in and out will really wear you out. However we did picked up the travel bug and will be taking it to Sarasota tomorrow to relocate it.
