Current Goal

Grabbed dogtag for 'Wedding Surprise' back from nwas. Now To travel the world as Mascapone Mouse finding regional cheeses to taste.

About This Item

Mascarpone is a gourmand, going on connoisseur, of cheese.
He is travelling the world to gather material for his thesis in cheesycology. He's searching for, and of course, sampling, regional chesses in all their variety, noting their names and where he discovered them in his log/diary.
Please help Mascarpone on his way. But please, please, do not offend by offering stale bits from the back of your fridge - known in England as 'Mousetrap'.

    25 June 2006 nobby.nobbs sent an e-mail to GrannySmith:
    "hi, sorry bad news.
    mascapone mouse was in my kings copse cache which appears to have been muggled with no trace left. so i've had to archive. just thought i should let you know"

    and Granny Smith replied: "Thankyou. What a disappointment. Mascarpone Mouse disappeared after I launched it in my own cache. Turned up a few months later in another cache, moved to yours and has now gone, seemingly for good. An unlucky mouse. This TB started off in life as Wedding Surprise; reached its destination at exactly the right time. Maybe it's bad luck to re-name a TB !!"

    26 June 2006 nobby.nobbs e-mailed again to GrannySmith: Just one of those tings I think. There is a very small chance it will turn up if it got washed away but only if it got caught nearby. The flow is too strong at the moment, when it goes down I will have a look. I don't hold out much hope to be honest."

    This seems to be the death of Mascarpone Mouse.
