Bernie would like to see the world, but would like to stay out of really hot places like ovens or volcanoes. He would like to meet some cool characters.

Uh oh!

Bernie was my first attempt at a clay sculpture. I thought he was doing pretty well, and went into the oven for baking.

Unfortunately, I forgot to set the timer, and 2 hours later my wife asked, "Why is the oven on?" Poor Bernie was burnt. I debated starting over, but then I figured this lent character to the little fellow, thus the name "Burnt Bernie."
