In San Diego county there are over 80 miles of pristine white sand beaches. Can someone say sand castle?

Thomas Edison designed and added one of the first light bulbs in a hotel. The hotel was the Hotel Del Coronado on coronado island. To this day the hotel continues to be one of the landmarks in San Diego.

If you're a golfer San Diego boasts over 100 golf courses. Many of them near the beach or over looking the ocean. It would take the average golfer 47 days to walk all 18 holes at each of the courses in San Diego County.

There are some pretty famous residents of San Diego as well. Celebrities like Bill Gates, Cameron Diaz, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DeCaprio, and may others call San Diego their home.

Rancho Santa Fe, one of the counties of San Diego, is the wealthiest in the United States. The average median home price there is 2,737,000.00, Ouch! I hope those homes are gold plated.

San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California. It is the seventh largest in the entire United States!

Balboa park is the largest cultural part in the USA. It has 15 museums, and the old globe theatres. Not to mention it is next door to the world famous San Diego Zoo.

If you like avocados San Diego is the nations largest producer of avocados. San Diego produces over 40% of California's avocados which account for 95 percent of the avocados produced in the entire united states. Guacamole anyone?

You will also feel pretty safe while living in San Diego. It houses the United States Pacific Fleet which is a major part of our defense system.

Te gusto tacos? Well then you are in luck. San Diego is also a border city to Mexico. So its no wonder that San Diegans love Mexican food. And if you up for the real thing you can take a 20 minute trolley ride right into the heart of Tijuana Mexico.
