I found "Minnie" at "The Castle" (GC18C91) in Caracasbaai, Curacao while working aboard a research vessel that is currently docked here for routine maintenance. The vessel is the JOIDES Resolution -- a deep sea coring vessel that travels all over the world collecting samples from the ocean floor so scientists can study the history of Earth's climate changes, biosphere, seismic activity, etc. I am from Missouri, and I found the cache containing this bug along with three of my companions -- two other Americans (from Texas and Washington) and a South African, all of whom work with me on this vessel. It was the first geocache find for my three companions, and this is the first time I have collected a travel bug. I will be heading back to Missouri in a few days, and I will give it a new home in a Missouri geocache, hopefully a step closer to returning home!
