About This Item

This TB is a penny pressed into an Historic Route 66 icon.  I well remember that old road, from my early adult years.  Three of four times I drove over it, never though northeast toward Chicago.  My travels always took me toward Florida, or Virginia.  In the days before the Interstate, this old highway went through every town, large and small, along the way.  It perhaps added to the interest of travelling but certainly didn't lend itself to speed of travel.
