Current Goal

Time to travel home!

Magic: The Gathering was created by Richard Garfield and subsequently published in 1993 by Wizards of the Coast.

Designed as a trading card game, the game involves two or more players who act as wizards (called planeswalkers) engaged in battle. The wizards employ spells, artifacts and creatures depicted on individual Magic cards to defeat their opponents.

When Garfield first started to design the game, he was a doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. It is this background which this trackable's mission relates. It wants to travel from Australia back to its 'historical home' of the University of Pennsylvania and then make its way back to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. On its way, it wants to visit places associated with features of the game - perhaps a place associated with wizards, dinosaurs, pirates, or magic? There are a variety of places and you may want to search for Magic on the internet for inspiration (or visit the Magic: The Gathering site at https://magic.wizards.com).
