This travel bug hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a city with a strong German heritage, as it was settled by many German immigrants in the late 19th century. To this day, Milwaukee still has a large German population, evidenced by the more than 40 pages of "Sch-" last names in the phone book! Milwaukee is also home to the largest German festival in North America. Gemuetlichleit wants to travel all the way to Germany to experience the land of his ancestors!

Dropping off in Berlin! I do believe Berlin is a very large city in Germany, too bad this Berlin is actually still in Wisconsin but unfortunately that's the best we can do. This town seemed to have quite the German heritage so maybe someone in town has a trip to Germany planned. Thanks for placing.

Wow, it's so cool that we found this travel bug! We live in Milwaukee so we'll bring it back home, and then send it on its way. Hopefully it will reach Germany one of these days during its travels! 🙂🙂
