There are many wonders to be seen on the road, both the natural wonders of nature and the unnatural wonders of man. Take a photo of one of the latter. A funky store, crazy road sign, bizarre tourist trap, grungy truck stop. Whatever stands out during your travels.
(By the way, this name comes from the title of a great book by Tom Robbins.)
This camera is a Bandycam, and is registered on bandycams.com at http://bandycams.com/cam.php?camid=13. Please log your find there as well as here.
When the camera's photos are all taken, please remove the travel bug tag and mail the camera in for processing using the postage-paid envelope attached to the bottom.

Scow was kind enough to take this camera in for development, but it was too waterlogged. Another casualty of the adventurous life.
Scow also mailed me the tag, so I can release another camera with it. Next time I might use a waterproof camera.

Bandycams has been rescued! It is completely jammed after having spent two years on top of East Haven Mountain. The mailer is in pretty bad shape and although I can still read the owners' name and address, I'm wondering if it might be better for me to get the pictures developed, upload them and attach new camera. I'll wait a week or so to hear from the owner. If I don't hear from them, then that is what I will do and I'll send it along to another cache to continue its mission with fresh film .
We would have loved to take pictures from East Haven Haiku, but we couldn't. You can see a few shots of the cache crew with my log.

I read about half of the "Another roadside attraction" book when I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted in 1984. I never finished it, because it reminded me of pain! So I hiked up this mountain in the dead of winter on worn out legs, and once again it reminds me of pain! Hmmm....

jiminy, i don't even know which day it was i picked this up... i am so egregiously behind in my logging and i know WHERE i got this from, but i was there twice.
anyway, i'm kind of holding onto it until i see either a good thing to take a picture of or until i see a good cache in which to leave it.
