Craig is a male saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's first crocodile travel bug. The animal measures 2 feet in length, weighs approximately 1 pound and is estimated to be more than 18 years old. Craig has been wandering around New England mostly hanging out near geocaches waiting for an unsuspecting geocacher to come along. On New Year’s Eve in 2018, he was found in Dunbarton, NH where he was discovered while hiding at the home of Team Bullis. Craig likes belly rubs and hiking in the woods as long as there is an occasional pond for him to take a break to go swimming.
Craig is a classic opportunistic predator when he is hungry which is why yukionna makes certain he is well fed at all times. If hungry, he lurks patiently beneath the surface near the water's edge, waiting for potential prey to stop for a sip of water. He’ll feed on anything he can get his jaws on. Without warning, he explodes from the water with a thrash of his powerful tail, grasps his victim, and drags it back into the water, holding it under until the creature drowns.
