🛰️ What is GeoWoodstock?
The first GeoWoodstock event was created by JoGPS, a geocacher from Tennessee, in 2003 to bring cachers from across the United States together. By 2006, it had become popular internationally and GeoWoodstock 4 was the first-ever geocaching event to attain Mega-event status. GeoWoodstock 2018 was the first Giga event held outside of Europe. Continuing the long line of history, GeoWoodstock is excited to visit West Virginia to celebrate 25 years of Geocaching.
Mylan Park, located in Morgantown West Virginia, will serve as the host location of GeoWoodstock XXI with side events sprawling throughout the hills of North Central WV. With over 400 beautiful acres and two large indoor and outdoor facilities, this venue is a geocacher's playground. Mylan Park will host a variety of presentations, meet & greet opportunities, a catered lunch, vendors, adventure labs, and so much more!

Side Events. With 8 events spanning from Thursday (5/22) to Sunday (5/25), there's never a dull moment when caching in West Virginia. Explore an 18th-century reconstructed fort, listen to some authentic mountain music, or enjoy a craft brew with your caching buddies - the possibilities are endless!
New Caches. A geotrail, adventure labs, and a geo-art, oh my! Hundreds of new caches will be released in anticipation of GeoWoodstock XXI, and with thousands already published for you to find, one weekend might not be long enough!
Cultural Experiences. Enjoy the community of the Mountain State with discounted shopping and dining opportunities as well as recreational offerings such as ziplining, kayaking, and hiking! Extend your trip to check out the 63rd National Park: the New River Gorge!
