Current Goal

The goal is for this trackable is to travel the world and eventually make its way home to the Scout Section of the Tarragindi Scout Group. We would like the geocoin to end up in a cache which is located in the forest near the Tarragindi Scout Den. The cache is GCXTEK - Remnant - Sandy Creek.

Alternatively we would love it if you wanted to just drop in and give it personally to our Scouts Section. The Scouts meet on Thursday nights 7:00-9:00pm (only during school terms) at Tarragindi Scout Den, 31 Newington St, Tarragindi, Queensland.

Hi from Tarragindi Scouts,

We are from a Scout Den located in Brisbane, Australia. We have around 60 kids at our Den ranging from 6-18 years old in the Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers Sections. While we are situated close to the city in a suburban area we are very lucky to be surrounded by a small forested reserve.

The Scouts Section has been doing a bit of geocaching recently and thought it would be fun to send a trackable off on its own journey to see where it goes.

The trackable is a Scouts Australia Geocoin. The coin was launched by Scouts Australia to celebrate their foray into the world of Geocaching. While the trackable originates from Brisbane, Australia it will be dropped in a cache in Europe by one of the Scouts from the group.

Please add photos of yourself, the coin and the caches it visits as well - we would also love to see where it actually travels.
