I love my number plates, don’t ask why
Red, Green, Blue, Black
All colours and the states they apply

Rough ones, shiny ones
On new cars
And the old that no longer runs

What I’d like to see are the rare
The abnormal ones,
The ones you don’t see everywhere

Like, IM2L8 or 2SIC
MYH2, 2HOT4U
Or just the number 2 from a classic

Better still plates from OS
Plates from around the world
That would be cool I confess

To end up in Michigan, that is my mission
