He doesn't look like a real surfer to me. In fact, he looks like a flatlander and so I'm going to have to place him in a rural area.

attached are pictures of this traveller on the majestic bluffs overlooking Swami's beach in encinitas. The cache is litteraly right in view of the water, so any closer and he would be crab food.

along with the usually awesome waves, the beach has some tide pools harboring a managerie of marine wildlife.

I may have had the bum for a good long while, but i think the wait was worth it.

Picked up the beach bum from kiln... the only water he was enjoying there was a still pond nearby overgrown with algae and a sewer treatment plant a short walk away!

i'll give him a tour of some british beaches, maybe other european ones... and eventually (in december) ill bring him to california and leave him in a cache after letting him surf the waters of the pacific.
