This is number seven in my hobby bug series. Each travel bug stands for one of my hobbies and has a related quest. In addition they all want to meet up with their siblings again to share some time in a friendly cache and exchange travel stories before setting off on their journey again. A picture of such a meeting would be very much appreciated. Other than that the hobby bugs would like to travel freely and meet people from different countries and nationalities.
It all started when I realised that pound coins look different every year and then tried to get a complete set. In addition I now collect euro coins, state quarters and generally odd leftover change from foreign travel. I stick the coins onto the mantelpiece of an unused heater where they make a good conversation topic.
If you collect anything (coins, stamps etc.) as a hobby, please tell me about it in the log.

The original coin got muggled, so I am sending a small coin collection on its way to continue the mission

Being a birder I collect sightings of different bird species here & abroad. I used to collect Scottish Munros until we'd climbed all 284, also their 'tops' - still have 2 of them to go but they're probably too hard now. Also collected Italian Dolomites over 3000m. Moved on to the 8000m peaks- sightings of them from treks that is, not actually climbing them! Seen 13 of the 14. Maybe get the last one later ths year? Also collect rocks, at least ones I can carry. All in all I guess I've collected alot of wonderful memories.

I found this replacement geocoin in GC292G6 Thirsty Work.
I enjoy railways and have a number of N gauge locomotives and rolling stock I also photograph trains mainly freight, and collect the odd number, on a move to York and as I get older and less mobile I may do more train spotting. Well it is like caching, except that instead of tracking miles to get a cache, you find a likely place and let the trains come to you. hahaaha !!
I'll move it along soon.
