To travel in honor of my Mother who is no longer able to travel due to Alzheimer's disease. She was an amazing woman who had many talents and loves. She was a master quilter and loved to travel. May this coin travel in her honor far and wide and in safety. Thank you for the care of this coin.
On 8/21/2010 my Mom gracefully and peacefully passed away in her sleep. She is now free to travel and be with my father in heaven. I am grateful for all that they have given me and the love they shared and the joy I have in being a part of this family. Thank you Mom and Dad for everything. Thank you for keeping this coin moving in her honor.
Update 10/3/2011
This link will take you to a book that shows pictures of the quilts my Mom had made. I hope you enjoy looking at the quilts. You may preview this book for free. There is no intention for you to purchase the book, just to enjoy the quilts. The quilts begin on page 14.

If you want to hear my story of why I started caching: it was told on PodCacher episode 340.0 about 16 min. into the show. (Podcacher.com)
Just one of the attributes of my Mother; a Master Quilter. This coin has traditional pattern used in quilting. It has a color palate that both of us enjoyed. Because of this I got this coin to honor my Mother. May it travel safely and go to many places and if possible have pictures of the different places that this coin will go.

I actually grabbed this beautiful coin from a newer cacher after I explained to her how to log them. She got it from someone at the Brockport, NY event. I got it from her at the West Side Brunch Bunch this morning. To the person asking how you can drop it at an event... you can trade them at an event just like you would put it in a cache.

what a lovely coin, passed along to me. I'm posting a blue and white I am working on - but I don't claim to be a master quilter....just a beginner, but defintely a lover of quilting!
