Current Goal

I named this TB after my SAR dog "Cinder" who is usually along with me on most of my caching trips. This TB is actually attached to my caching gear, and will be checked into and out of every geocache that I visit. I don't know how far we will go, but the ride should be a good one.

About This Item

Cinder playing

'Life, is not meant to be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, "WOW!! What a Ride!" '

Cache has taken on a unique smell due to spearmint gum that was left in it. Not bad - just unique.

Found this one just as it was getting dark. Was using one of the LED flashlights and it picked up the cache very quickly. Will have to make it part of my permanent kit.

Retrieve It from a Cache 9/6/2004 diveofficer retrieved it from Strangers in the Night Texas   Visit Log

Found this one with MadMoravian, the wives, and the dogs. I think the dogs held up the best on this run. MadMoravian had some problems due to his height, but all in all a great run. The tree monster screamed at the dogs, but settled down soon after and was glad for the visitors. Left "Sharkbait" TB. This was actually the first cache I took "Cinder" on. She has been my caching partner ever since.

Nice spot to spend part of a Sunday afternoon. As a former Police Officer, I found it very moving.
