I found him in a Parking lot,while geochaching, in Tennessee,USA still in his McDonald’s bag.

Carlo Collodi, the author of The story of Pinocchio,was the pen name of Carlo Lorenzini,Who was born and grew up in Florence. The last part of his pen name was the name of the Tuscan village where Lorenzini's mother was born: Collodi.

We finally said goodby to Pinocchio. We enjoyed his company, but we kept him away from the rest of you for far too long -- I'm sorry about that. Funny how real life sometimes gets in the way of pursuits like geocaching. The last hang up was finding him within our home, and there's no way a GPSr can help with that! My son found him in his room, so at least Pinocchio has had the company of children. I have a photo of P that I need to post.

We borrowed Pinocchio to join our family for awhile on Cache In/Trash Out day. We have a picture or two in our camera that we need to download and post. We will try to get him on his way as soon as possible.

Dropped Pinocchio in the "Surrounded by Futbol" cache.
He had asked us to move him where he could see some children. There were about 300 children playing soccer here today and he was very pleased to be left here. I'm not sure but I think I saw him move (could he be comming to life).

He was deep in the pine trees and asked to be moved to an area where he could see some children.
