I found him in a Parking lot,while geochaching, in Tennessee,USA still in his McDonald’s bag.

Carlo Collodi, the author of The story of Pinocchio,was the pen name of Carlo Lorenzini,Who was born and grew up in Florence. The last part of his pen name was the name of the Tuscan village where Lorenzini's mother was born: Collodi.

Found Pinocchio today. I wonder what he's been up to, because I found "Jasmine" in the bag with him!!! Maybe he was wooing her with his Italian! Whatever the case, I think it's only appropriate that Jasmine travels with him to Italy. Maybe after that they can go to India. I'll be off to Germany on Saturday, so they can come with me.

It took me two stops at this chache to spot the TB. This is my first TB find so I geuss I'm a slow learner. Pinocchio is doing fine and it looks like I will have good weather this weekend to place him in another cache. Though I will not be getting him onto a plane, hopefully I will move him closer to the airport. I will post pictures before I send him on.

Sorry for the delay to record Pinocchio's travels - he's been on the road for awhile. After visiting the Daytona 500, he's now in "Over the River & Through the Woods" #GCKF2E - He's close enough to the Philly Int'l Airport if anyone's heading to Italy! But you'll need 2 tickets, Pinocchi now has a girlfriend. We'll post photos soon.

Not going to Italy, but thought it was time to try some international travel, even if it is only Canada. We'll post some pictures when we get him home and cache there.
