Current Goal

Frodo is back on the road with a very specific mission. To complete his quest, he needs to visit the following locations in order: 1) Burg Eltz, Germany to pay a visit to the Elves, 2) The City of Bad Wildbad in the Black Forest Region of Germany to bring good tidings to the Ents, 3) Neu Schwanstein Castle, Germany to pay tribute to Aragorn, and finally to 4) J.R.R. Tolkien's grave in the Catholic section of Wolvercote Cemetery in the northern suburbs of Oxford, England to honor his creator. The Final Travel Bug Bearer may either leave Frodo at the grave site or keep him in honor of completeing the quest. Photos of Frodo along his journey would be greatly appreciated, especially at the four locations mentioned above.

Lets get him on the right side of the water for a start.

  • Perrotts Folley 1 As I work in Birmingham I thought Frodo would like a short trip to the two towers. The pair are said to have suggested Minas Morgul and Minas Tirith to Tolkien, the two towers in the title of the second book of The Lord of the Rings. 
Both are located just ouside Birmingham city centre and within 500yds of each other, near to where Tolkien moved to in 1902 in Harefield road
