It's kind of hard to get too annoyed about the disappearance of a geocoin that traveled over 20,000 miles. Still, the circumstances kind of stink. This was in a cache on Malolo Lailai island in Fiji that gets few visitors. The cache also is reputed to have been muggled, although the logs on it are not consistent on that point. The cache owners live in Australia, so they likely only get out that way now and then. No one has made any mention of this geocoin, or the other travelers listed as being in the cache 😟
In any event, this seems to have gone MIA, so we are retrieving it for burial in an archived cache of ours, and hope that it turns up, some day. And here's our semi-obligatory "rant"...
WE HOPE THAT SOMEONE IS JUST BEING VERY SLOW TO LOG THIS, OR THAT THEY FORGOT ABOUT IT, OR MAYBE DIDN'T REALIZE WHAT IT REALLY WAS; IF THIS IS THE CASE, PLEASE RETRIEVE IT, AND THEN DROP IT INTO ANOTHER CACHE AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE. THANK YOU!
HOWEVER...
IF YOU TOOK THIS GEOCOIN WITH NO INTENTION OF MOVING IT ALONG, YOU ARE A THIEF!! WE OWN THIS GEOCOIN; WE SENT IT OUT INTO THE WORLD FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO ENJOY AND TO MOVE ALONG. YOU CANNOT SELL IT OR ADOPT IT; YOU CAN'T EVEN SHOW IT TO OTHERS WITHOUT RISKING THEM FINDING OUT THAT YOU ARE A PETTY CRIMINAL. WE HOPE THAT YOU GET A CONSCIENCE AND DROP THIS INTO A CACHE SOON.
IF YOU SEE THIS GEOCOIN IN THE COLLECTION OF ANOTHER CACHER, BE AWARE THAT IT IS STOLEN PROPERTY.
