About This Item

Djali.jpg

Djali may look young but is getting up there in years. He would like to see his home country one last time before he gets too old to travel!

Djali went MIA after being placed in his very fist cache. We are sending out his clone to resume his mission. Please help him along.

WE HAVE DISCOVERED THAT THE ORIGINAL HAS SHOWN BACK UP AND IS TRAVELING AROUND ALSO. NO PROBLEM - THE MILES WILL JUST NOT SHOW PROPERLY.

I picked up this travel bug at Oxbow at Riverbend today. I hope i'm not stepping on any toes by stating "Grabbed it" from another player. I hope to help it move on soon.

I don't know if I have helped Djali on his trip any, but he liked this spot. Very peaceful next to the river.

When I found this cache, Djali whispered to me that although this was a really neat cemetery....it is a little creepy at night. He sorta wanted to move on. I picked him up intending to place him farther east later in the day but I ran out of daylight. Will try to get him into a nice spot this weekend. Poor Djali is getting a little worse for wear. His legs and one of his ears have been knocked off.

Grabbed this TB in New York. I have the one marked COPY. Owner wants it to go to Germany with me next month, so it will be travelling!

When we found Djali,in View Carre' we were looking to start out one of our own TB's from New Orleans and so naturally traded Bugs. However, it wasn't until we got home and I looked at his mission and history, I realized that he had just come from the north and now he is back here, I have just placed him in my own cache, Looking for Clarinda. He might have had a better chance of getting to France if he was still in New Orleans. However, as things go, that isn't always true. Funny that we were staying with relatives in New Orleans, and my husbands Aunt was leaving for France today. But she doesn't know a thing about geocaching and we couldn't think of any way of getting that to work. Well, we can only hope that he will make the jump one way or another. There are many TB's who have made it over seas more than once. Good luck, and I am sorry that I didn't think to take his picutre in front of St. Louis Cathedral while we were there. Oh well....

We were so excited to visit this cache, and Djali was the only travel bug to trade. We will look at it's history and see if we can move him along a little further on his quest. Just wanted to get him logged in that we have found him for now. Will probably be taking him home with us to Indiana. Yo Yo Maxx and Gypsy Cowboy
