About This Item

Chaz the Spaz

Chaz the Spaz is a happy go lucky Travel bug and will only be truly happy if he is on the road, hopping from geocache to geocache, seeing as many different sights along the way.

His ultimate goal is to visit all fifty states and as many different foreign countries as possible. Chaz the Spaz loves touristy spots and wants to have his picture taken at different points of interest. These points of interest can be scenic, historical or just plain fun. Chaz the Spaz just wants to go!

I'm amazed at Chaz's longevity! He's one of my original travel bugs, having been released in July 2002. That's a long time for a travel bug to be out there. The map below indicates what countries he's actually resided inside a cache. There are logs that state he's been in New Zealand, among other places, but I can't confirm that he's actually been in a cache there, so I haven't colored that country in. Where will he go next?

After two hours in 'Ooys wrak', Chaz decided it was time to move on again. The rising water just came too close for him.... We will drop him off on a drier location! In the mean while, he is getting acquainted with our cat Dropje.

Chaz mentioned that it was depressing to be so close to the river and not be able to go swimming, of course he was jumping up and down and Spazzing out when I considered leaving him in the cache, so I told him to calm down and I put him in my pack. Wading in the river was very refreshing and due to a lack of ability in locating a 9key cache, I brought Chaz home and will take him caching again in a few days. In the meantime he is hanging out with Lucky the Hedgehog.
