Well, this managed to make it to New Zealand. It was retrieved by a newbie who held onto it for 4½ years before dropping it into a cache in Washington State. That cache was archived a few months later, although somewhere around a dozen people Found the cache in that gap. No one mentions this geocoin, so it was either lost when the cache vanished, or was retrieved and never logged.
Either way, it was marked as "Missing", but because we never leave our travelers in Geo-Limbo, we are retrieving this for burial in an archived cache of ours, and hope that it turns up, some day. And here's the semi-obligatory "rant" for situations like this...
WE HOPE THAT SOMEONE IS JUST BEING VERY SLOW TO LOG THIS, OR THAT THEY FORGOT ABOUT IT, OR MAYBE DIDN'T REALIZE WHAT IT REALLY WAS; IF THIS IS THE CASE, PLEASE RETRIEVE IT, AND THEN DROP IT INTO ANOTHER CACHE AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE. THANK YOU!
HOWEVER...
IF YOU TOOK THIS GEOCOIN WITH NO INTENTION OF MOVING IT ALONG, YOU ARE A THIEF!! WE OWN THIS GEOCOIN; WE SENT IT OUT INTO THE WORLD FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO ENJOY AND TO MOVE ALONG. YOU CANNOT SELL IT OR ADOPT IT; YOU CAN'T EVEN SHOW IT TO OTHERS WITHOUT RISKING THEM FINDING OUT THAT YOU ARE A PETTY CRIMINAL. WE HOPE THAT YOU GET A CONSCIENCE AND DROP THIS INTO A CACHE SOON.
IF YOU SEE THIS GEOCOIN IN THE COLLECTION OF A CACHER OTHER THAN US, BE AWARE THAT IT IS STOLEN PROPERTY.
