About This Item

Football Frenzy

What fun it will be to travel to NFL cities and if I'm lucky, I might see a game or two along the way. I'm starting my journey in northern Michigan and I just might catch a Detroit Lions game soon. Take pictures of my adventure and post them for all to see. There are 32 cities and lots of miles to travel so I had better get going!!

We will be going through Knoxville on the way to the camping event. Even though UT's Neyland Stadium is not an NFL stadium I will still be posting a pic. This magnificiant stadium has a capacity of 104,079 . However it has had an average attendance of 106,666 over the past five years with a peak of 108,768 at the Florida game in 2000.

We stopped by the Cafe Du Monde outside Jackson Square in New Orleans to enjoy some beignets. We didn't have time to cache while there, so will make this note to add some more pics.

  • Cafe Du Monde We waited to enjoy the beignets until after the picture. If you have ever had them you know why :)

Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to drop him off near Cleveland OR get a picture with Heinz Stadium. So, maybe he'll have better luck down here, in New Orleans.

I picked up this little fella without knowing where he came from. I am travelling to Michigan, tomorrow and had originally thought to take him along. Now, I will see about dropping him off near Cleveland on the way through. I'll keep ya posted as to the progress. I'm going to see about getting a picture of Heinz stadium along the way, as well.

Was just South of Pittsburgh today (South Park) but could drop TB there due to other issues. Dropped off at first stop on return trip to Philly. So at least TB is closer to the Steelers' local. Good luck in your quest.

Found this bug today and will pass along to a fellow Geocacher who lives in Philly. Will get him to place it in a cache closer to the "Linc" to watch the Eagles finally get over the hump and make it to the Super Bowl in 2004/2005 with TO and Donovan!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! E A G L E S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After reviewing all of the prior logs I see that this guy has already been to the Linc. Lucky for him I have to travel out to Pittsburgh this week so I will drop him off out there where he might get a chance to see a "Stillers" game. Not sure he would want to since they are a definately a bottom tier team!!!!!!!!! The only thing they have is a left over running back from Philly.

(Boy I love TBs that let me trash everybody except the Eagles...YEAH!).
