Football Frenzy

What fun it will be to travel to NFL cities and if I'm lucky, I might see a game or two along the way. I'm starting my journey in northern Michigan and I just might catch a Detroit Lions game soon. Take pictures of my adventure and post them for all to see. There are 32 cities and lots of miles to travel so I had better get going!!

Lincoln Financial Field - Sunday Sept. 14th 2003 -
Philadelphia Eagles vs. New England Patriots

With the help of my friend, Football Frenzy not only got to catch a game at the brand new Linc - but it also got to meet some of the Eagles cheerleaders!

Mission accomplished - it'll be moving on to another stadium shortly.

Hmmm... seems I made some sort of a mistake with poor Football Frenzy, and the log shows he was hung up in Pennypack Creek cache. I am entering this log to cycle him through that cache and get him back on his way to see more stadiums. He visited Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia on 5/10/03, and watched the Phillies beat the Houston Astros. He would have prefered a football game, but the hot dog tasted the same. He will soon visit a few more east coast stadiums. Sorry for the delay in reporting his progress..

Cache was spoiled, we rescued Football Frenzy from a watery grave near the cache's site. After mouth to mouth, he began to breathe on his own again. He will head north in a few days, and will likely visit the Baltimore Ravens stadium, Giants Stadium, Veteran's Stadium, and the Eagles brand new stadium in Philadelphia. He may even visit both RFK and the new stadium in Washington DC over the next month or two.

  • Football Frenzy Enroute to Phila Football Frenzy poses with his friend, Robb's Maine Bug in the Atlanta International Airport. They had a layover on their flight between Fort Lauderdale and Philadelphia.
  • Dripping Dry Football Frenzy can be seen hanging off the pinky finger of my left hand after his rescue from the Everglades. He is doing well and will visit a few stadiums over the next month.

We picked him up in Caz Park as he seemed a bit slow moving and we are taking him with us to Miami. Hope he likes the warm sun down there, and we are going to get him to the stadium. Then set him free on his merry journey.
