Current Goal

To see how many new places I can visit, and then return home to my owners (busternfruss in Newnan, GA 30263) by July 4, 2009. UPDATE: Let's make that July 4, 2010--uh, 2011! Please post photos of my travels to my gallery page. Don't forget to log your retrieval and my next cache placement so everyone can track my adventures. Thanks!

About This Item

Looking good after 23,445 miles...

One of the Tybee Island Lighthouse Georgia 2007 geocoins, silver finish. Special coin to us, hope to see it back at home soon.
Thanks for getting this coin moving again!

UPDATE 2012:  This coin has returned home safely after extended travels in the geoworld!  It may travel a bit further to a few special caches with its owners before it permanently retires.

Here's the log for our retrieval near home:

Thanks, bigkid4ever, for seeing our Tybee Island Lighthouse coin home, and thanks to all who helped it travel! Amazingly, it arrived home in excellent condition after a journey of 23,445 miles over 3 1/2 years to complete its goal. It visited several lighthouses, both coasts of the U.S., Hawaii, and the Caribbean, among other places. It's one of the lucky ones that didn't vanish in the geoworld.
We'll have to think of a good retirement for this special coin. Perhaps it can also visit Tybee Island. Many thanks and happy caching~ B&F

So close to the Lighthouse, so logging through this cache on Hilton Head Island found with WGG Connie. Hope to get to Tybee too but might not make it.
Missing my best caching partner, love you forever "B"!

Visited 8/2/2012 busternfruss took it to Lake Martin Bay Pine Island Alabama - 65.94 miles  Visit Log

Had to let this lighthouse coin visit our first find on a very special day out boating on Lake Martin with Dan and family before their relocation to Bay Minette very soon. Dan, Tyler, and Allison found the cache while Tish and I waited on the boat. We saw a small lighthouse later in the day near Stillwaters. A day to remember forever! Many blessings, life is good!

Visited 3/16/2012 busternfruss took it to Chattahoochee Bend State Park Georgia - 16.16 miles  Visit Log

Logging this special coin, one that's survived a journey of over 23,000 miles to amazingly return home safely, through a special cache--our first official state park find. Beautiful weather for walking the trail along the river with good friends.

Visited 3/1/2012 busternfruss took it to Stonewall Cache Georgia - 4.4 miles  Visit Log

First cache that B's been able to visit in months and months! Logging this special coin through in honor of the occasion. 🙂

Of course this coin gets to visit this Leap Day find, first find since this coin returned home from its long journey in the geoworld. Good to have you back!

Whoever retrieves this coin, please move it toward Newnan, GA, and place it into a secure and safe cache. If it gets a little closer, we'll come retrieve it. We'd come now but hubby is recovering from surgery at present. Thanks, and happy caching! ~B&F
