On my way to the CITO event, we stopped by at what is oft considered the most haunted spot in a town known for its haunts.

    From the web:

    Hampton Lillibridge House (c.1796)

    507 East St. Julian Street.

Black and white trim accents the house built by New Jersey native Hampton Lillibridge. It has long been known as a haunted house because of strange noises and weird happenings. Even after the Bishop of Georgia performed a rite of exorcism, the sound of clanking chains was heard. Of late, though, all has been peaceful here.

Savannah - Hampton Lillibridge House - This is said to be the most haunted house in Savannah, and the only house known to have had an exorcism. When the house was being restored in the 1960s, some workmen refused to finish the job because of strange occurrences (tools disappearing, hearing footsteps when they knew they were alone, strange feelings). On one occasion, a man was seen wearing a black suit and bow tie in the third floor window when no one was living in the house. Neighbors have also heard a woman's scream coming from within the house, and a gray haired man has also been sighted.

    in faith, Johann Panholtz

Cool! Came out here for some luck, and I'll take what I can get! Black Cat seemed the perfect partner to The Scream TB (TBJJMC) when I go to visit one of Savannah's most famous haunts!

Found after quite a search. Nice little hike to pretty location. Three dedicated members of the Jazzycat and the Burghermeisters cache team in on this one. Each of us had our own GPS units. After criss-crosssing area around coordinates and several near collisions between team members, we finally discovered location. Actually it was a good hiding spot. We will move travelbug later this week.
