Current Goal

I am the ferocious Green Gator from Bunker Hill Elementary. My owners (two classes of third graders) have set me free. I am on a mission to roam the Florida Everglades, the Swamplands of Louisiana, the islands of Hawaii, and the Amazon. Please help me gather adventurous and interesting stories for my third grade owners. Thanks for your help!

Green Gator discovered some cool things...

  • Green Gator reads from the Good Book in Portuguese Gator checks out a bible that spent two years in the Amazon Rainforest.

  • Gator sees a cool leather bookcover made in Brazil This covered the Biblia Sagrada (Holy Bible) that you see in the other photos; the 2 Timothy 4:7 scripture is on the spine. It has a photo of Cloud Strife, and hero of mine who I think was a stud and fought for truth (as I did as a missionary)
  • Gator checks out carvings from Recife, Brazil

  • Gator sees anaconda skin wallet from Santarem! Made in Santarem, right off of the Amazon River from Anaconda skin.
  • Same wallet, I use it daily!
  • Gator likes the authentic Brazilian Amazon-scene! Painted in Brazil, this painting was made for me by a family that we taught and baptized. It shows a night scene along the river, and two missionaries visiting the home on the bank.
  • To the Isles of the Sea Another painting of missionaries visiting someone who lives along the shore. There were many such houses right along the ocean and river coast in the Amazon.
  • A real (embalmed) piranha meets Gator! This piranha I brought with me from Santarem, deep in the Amazon.

Looks like its been here a while; I'll move it along ASAP!

Sadly, I won't be able to take it to the Amazon, though I spent some time there from 2006-2008, right in the heart of it (in the cities of Bele'm, and Santare'm). I'll take some photos of Green Gator along with some of the things I brought back from there.
