😮 I found this travel bug below Dogslaughter Falls. It was sticking up in the mud just enough for the sun to reflect off of it. I didn't realize the disk was supposed to stay with the tag, so I left it along the bank of the river (it was severely damaged).
I suppose the cache was vandalized at some point in the past or perhaps seasonal flooding washed it away, since I didn't find any other evidence of it being there. I've researched the cache, and believe it used to be located somewhere behind the falls hidden among the rocks (and snakes)!
I have a friend who is traveling tomorrow, May 26, 2012, to attend the Indianapolis 500. He has agreed to transport the travel bug to the race. I will be sending a printed copy of the log along with it. We should be able to revive this bug, and fulfill its dreams!
