The Pink Panther wants to travel the world, via cache boxes, and visit as many film locations as possible.
The Pink Panther is a real film fan and he wants to travel the world looking for places used as locations for movies.
Television production locations are not allowed, we have also released another bug (Location Seeker) that is a TV addict and he has a similar goal.
Please post the GPS co-ordinates and details of the film made at the location on the travel bug page. We would love to see a photograph of Pink Panther at the location, if possible, before he scuttles back to a nearby cache box.
A little research will be required, here are a few suggestions, Brief Encounter (Carnforth Station), My Fair Lady (Ascot), The Railway Children (Keighley and Worth Valley Railway), Waking Ned (Isle of Man), The Full Monty (Sheffield), Four Weddings and a Funeral (Crown Hotel, Amersham), numerous James Bond locations all over the world, and of course Paris, home of The Pink Panther and Inspector Clouseau.

The Pink Panther’s own movie history started in 1964 after Friz Freling created him for the opening titles of Blake Edward’s comedy film “The Pink Panther”. Film audiences of all ages love the colourful adventures of this pink-inked feline and that’s why we think he makes an excellent Travel Bug.
To help Pink Panther on his way we have already visited a few film related sites.

What fun to find this travelling cat. We left his other T.B. friend for others to find and also left the Large Intestine. Will find a movie location for this cool cat to check out.

This is one of two bugs I ended up keeping for awhile due to surgery. Sorry about hanging onto so long. Put it near Baker where parts of "Paint Your Wagon" was filmed.

The Pink Panther Strikes Again is visiting the area where Napoleon and Samantha Starring: Michael Douglas, Will Geer Released: 1972, was filmed. Hopefully he will see many more film spots. This engaging Disney feature follows two young children (Johnny Whitaker and Jodie Foster) who run away with their gentle pet lion. With the help of a mountain man (Michael Douglas), they must fend off fierce forest predators, a dangerous drifter, and the authorities.
