This weekened we got up early to sneak off to Yorkshire - with a cover story of visiting family (deliverying Xmas Presents!!!!). The plan was then to head out towards York on Sunday morning before heading home Sunday evening.
Unfortunately we think we were tailed by people associated with "Project Z" and they layed a trap on Sunday morning.. 3-4 inches of snow - see photos! This caused us to abort our York trip and set off back across the Pennines via the M62 before lunch as we didn't want to get stranded on the wrong side of the hills!
Not wanting to return this quartet of coins to Merseyside/Cheshire etc a quick scan of Memory map showed this small cache that was a drive by and close to the M62. Once we got there we cleared the snow to find the cache and managed to leave these 4 special coins (plus five others) before hopping on the M62. They have been labelled with "YORK" so lets hope the next person helps it on its journey as its only a few miles from Leeds to York on the A64
