Current Goal

Take me to Pekin, Illinois 61554 and let Geocacher Joranda find me.I made it to Washington DC and visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Viet Nam War Memorial and many other War Memorials in the United States and had my picture taken. Now it is time to head to my home town of Pekin, Illinois.

About This Item

This Travel Bug is in honor of my Grandfather who was a Marine in WWII. He fought in Iwo Jima with the Raider Brigade. My Grandfather never talked much about what happened on Iwo Jima.

As a kid I asked my Grandfather if he ever got close to the Japanesse and all he would say was "Yes, to close". My Grandfather was brave for going to the call of Duty for our great country we live in. God Bless all of our Service Men and Women in our Armed Forces.
