Current Goal

E.T. loves lighthouses! He eventually wants to make it up to the Rhode Island coast to have his picture taken near a lighthouse before heading back down to Roswell, NM. Any help getting to the Rhode Island Lighthouses would be greatly appriciated!

About This Item

Extra-Terrestrial Bug

ET has gone missing again. Someone in West Virginia is not being very nice, to put it mildly. Who ever you are, you are ruining a game for lots of people... thanks a lot. You're breaking a little girls heart.

ET has been bug-napped by a thoughtless soul. Be on the lookout for a small brown alien with a travel tag attached who has been missing for several months. Unknown location and unknown description of bug-naper. Last know whereabouts are West Virginia.

Never before in the history of Geocaching has there been such a daring, adventurous rescue of a travel bug..... E.T. was alone, cold and missing in a "bootleg cache" that wasn't registered, with very limited information about it being available. Perhaps something out of the movie "Wrong Turn" might have been in store for little E.T. I was really worried. Out of all my travel bugs, E.T. is by far my favorite. I was really beginning to think I would never see him again. "bluet" risked life and limb, not to mention did some serious investigating and travelling on their part to pull this off. I am truly impressed. As a Fireman, and former State Policeman, I have had my share of rescues, but nothing compares to this. A BIG THANK YOU is due from New Mexico to West Virginia! YOU ARE GEO-HEROES IN MY BOOK!!! :)

Mama Zeta, Courtney, Nathanial & I ventured deep into the West Virginia wilderness to rescue this waylaid Travel Bug from an unregistered bootleg cache. It was foggy & damp but we persevered and in the end victory. We rescued ET from the edge of pblivion and Iwill be starting him on his chosen path in the VERY near future.
