Jennifer of RoadTripMemories.com loves US Highways & back roads & of course, Route 66! But since she can’t take another trip for awhile, I’m going instead! I’ll leave Speedway, IN and travel to Chicago, IL. Then, I’ll motor west to Santa Monica, CA on the highway that’s the best! Once I arrive in L.A., please mark that down on my tag with the date. That way, future cachers know I have finished my Route 66 trip and am returning back home again to Indiana. My goal is to visit as many Route 66 towns as possible. I don’t want to “make time” and quickly get to L.A. or skip any states, so all I ask is that you drop me off in the closest Route 66 town you can (exceptions—New Mexico and Arizona, as there aren’t many caches). You can decide which towns to bring me to, but remember, keep me on 66 until I reach LA and help me visit as many Route 66 towns possible. Have fun, post **plenty of photos** & let’s GET OUR KICKS ON ROUTE 66!

Below, there is a very general map of Route 66 as it winds from Chicago to L.A. as well as a partial list of Route 66 cities & towns to help guide you down the Mother Road. Most of the towns included on this list have larger caches where you can drop me off, but there's many other 66 towns in between...please feel free to take and post photos of me anywhere along the way!
