When we retrieved this from the holiday event, we were told that this is a replacement spike. The tracking number is imprinted on it. Apparently some geocachers took the original to Las Vegas. On their way back, they forgot to place the trackable in their check baggage, and TSA confiscated the spike.
JB is supposed to visit Spain on business, but we are not sure at this point when it will be. So I dropped the spike in a cache near the airport. Hopefully it can hitch a ride. Good luck in your travels.
