[Whew...I've had this Cache for a whole month! I am sorry to have kept it for so long. I really did enjoy looking through all the Postcards with the pictures, drawings and messages. This makes up for a missing Postcard Cache I tried to find in Tennessee once. In an effort to place this one Far Away from it's last location, I almost resorted to the bushes behind the Truck Stop where I was while I waited for my next load assignment. I'm so glad that I didn't see a suitable spot there, since my assignment came in and took me through a much, much better place for the Cache.
On the way to the newest spot, you can find either
Monkey Cache (GCE85C) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=1f6e1083-d6cc-4719-bc37-caefc3db3f20
or
Fanny Magnet (GCX68Z) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=cb274136-136e-49ba-ba1d-0fc4237ffd34
I was able to find a location that has many of the attributes I like to see in a Cache. You can pay a visit to the Osceola National Forest, and find the Cache along the Fanny Bay Trail. This trail has it's own staging area and trailhead, or you can find another trail access from the WestBound Rest Area, which also makes it Trucker Friendly. I didn't get to go visit the bay at the end of the 3/4 mile trail, so if you go to the end, lets see some pictures. I'll share some of the pictures I did take on the way to the spot.
The new coordinates for the Cache are:
N 30*15.348
W082*24.133
These coordinates may be a few feet off, but will lead you to a small (30ft across?) clearing slightly off the trail, and the cache is hidden at the edge of this clearing. Wear bug repellant, the mosquitos will kill you.
