Our good and long time friends(over 60 years) the Quickie's picked up Helmer Jr and took him to Glenview, Illinois (1325 Miles) in March only to find 2 feet of snow and unable to find any available caches to place him in. Not knowing any other Geocachers in the area, they brought him back to their hime in Cape Corel, FL (1347 miles).
They knew we would be heading to our summer home in Black River Falls, WI sometime this spring. We got a late start out of Fort Myers, FL this year because the weather was so great down there and so bad up north. Anyway as of today Helmer Jr. is back on the road again. (GCT56G)
Frogman, we hope your dad will let you count the extra 2672 miles Helmer Jr. traveled without being log someplace. He was well taken care of and had fun playing with Quickie's grand children.
