Photograph me at your favorite tavern.
KIM: "Hooray! Its Wings and Beer time again, I'm practically going through withdrawl because of missing the last one. Can't wait to see everyone. I would like to say "I will be there with bells on" but it just occurred to me that I'm not sure where I'm supposed to wear the bells?, so I'll just show up the normal way.
PS to the etymology freaks out there...I believe the origin of the bells phrase comes from a reference to sleigh bells, as in:"when we arrive you will hear us coming, we will have our bells on the sleigh" If anyone is knowledgable on this subject please let me know so that I can buy the right size!"Kim
RJ FERRET: "You aren't purporting to be an ox now are you?
If you are, then you wear the bells on your yoke...
As for size, large enough so when someone helps pull your Conestoga wagon out of the mud, giving them one of your bells will be adequate compensation for the service, and any remaining bells will be loud enough to announce your arrival at the tavern!
Looking forward to hearing your approach...(among others of course...)" --Randy

Whee! My namesake has gone across the pond! I would love to catch up with my bug again when I go to visit Stockholm in February of 2006, it would be fun to see it again. Any cachers going over? I would appreciate the lift. Since I am getting picky, I know just where to put it...in the "Ride the Broom" cache in Solna. There is a lovely view from up there too. Thanks for the ride. Kim

Apologies for holding Kim for so long, but the dark nights have put paid to caching for a few weeks. Still, I have taken Kim to the beautiful city of Bath and she is now in a wildlife sanctuary where she can carry on her adventure.

Ding Dong! Kim's going over the pond! I'll see if I can get her near some British bells. (Only logged this when I got home to UK at the end of October. I'll drop Kim off as soon as I can.)
