The Special Mission: To meet it's older brother "Nokia 3330" (TB1RPT2).
"Nokia 5210" was my second mobile phone. I got it used from my father.
Once I accidentally washed it in a washing machine (60 ºC) with my jacket. I did not know where the phone was, so I made a call to it. All I heard was "modem like peeping". I poured water from the shells and dried the phone and the battery - and my Nokia 5210 was ok and working again!
The 5210 featured rubber Xpress-On shells, WAP over CSD and a built in thermometer. Productivity tools and utilities were available such as Calculator, Countdown Timer, Stopwatch, Thermometer, and Calendar. The phone had a built in infrared interface which allows data transfers to any device that is equipped with an infrared interface. The games included were Snake II, Space Impact, Bantumi, Pairs II and Bumper.
