Poor Jeff. In a freak accident, he began a hideous metamorphosis into a fly...well, you know the story. Anyway, he's a full fledged housefly now and has expressed a desire to see as much of this beautiful world as humanly(?) possible. Who are we to say no? Please help Jeff fulfill his wish by sending him from cache to cache across the Fruited Plains.

Found the little rascal hiding in a cache in Morrison, IL, and brought him back home to the Quad-Cities, IA. His home is looking a little worn, so a new baggie is in order. Will take with next week to Wisconsin (Kenosha) and drop him there in my hometown!

Found this bug ( ha, ha)on a cold November morning. Will drop it soon. This is the first bug I have found and its reather interesting to see how far it has traveled in such a short time.

😮 Jeff creeped me out at first, as the mosquitoes in this part felt this big sucknig my blood! But, then he introduced himself, and told me he was also from Wisconsin, and I knew I had made a friend! Not only do I remember Jeff from The Fly, I can't help but also think of the fly scenes from Racing Stripes...it makes you look at flies in your coffee in a whole new light! 😉 I'll let him fly around with me for a short bit, then release him in a suitable cache! 😁
