Current Goal

Bill Hewlett and David Packard think its time to revisit all the past and present Hewlett Packard facilities around the world. We are getting up in years, so after visiting a single facility please return us to a cache for a brief rest. We would also like to get pictures of the facilities.

About This Item

The travel bug is 3x4.5 inch laminate. With pictures of Bill and Dave front and back the travel bug is inside the laminate.

Its not as rugged as I hoped, so please don't fold it to get it inside a cache.

    This has been missing since 10/25/2010, which is 4 days shy of [u]5 years[/u]!

    I truly do hope that it turns up one day soon but, in the mean time, please change its designation to "Missing" so its location can be marked "Unknown". That way, it can [b]finally[/b] be properly de-listed from the designated cache's inventory.

    Love the way this bug was assembled. Have to ponder what we can find that's HP related. I think the local plant closed a while ago...have to Google that.

    Found Dave and Bill in a cache in Woburn, MA. Not sure how they got here but I'll log them through the cache where I found them for the miles.

    Right now this TB is sitting in Chelmsford, MA where I worked 20 years ago for Apollo Computer which was purchased by HP. I actually met Bill in 1990/91 when he came to this site for a visit -- unfortunately HP is no longer in that building as this work was moved to Ft. Collins, CO.
