The Harry Meister (having narrowly escaped an early demise and feeling rather saucy) and myself (rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated) decided that it was 'high time' to climb a 'high hill' and check on the cache. The weather was perfect when Harry and I met at the parking area. Gazing at the hill, we asked one another, "What kind of person would want to climb a hill like that for a geocache?" "Sick people like us," was the answer, as we started in our favorite direction - straight up!
We made our way up the hill, and arrived at stage one. Harry restocked and rehid the container. Off to stage two - which we "found missing". Replaced stage two with a new camo-taped otter box and a good supply of coordinates for stage three. The final stage was in good shape, and we restocked the ammo box.
Three hours later, we made it back to the parking spot - a bit tired, but in great spirits after an enjoyable hike over the hill and back. Great company, great conversation, beautiful views - it doesn't get much better.
Thanks, Harry!
