The PJ07 Legacy Geocoin was created as part of the True North Geocaching program at the Pacific Scout Jamboree (PJ07) that took part at Camp Byng, Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada, July 9 – 14, 2007. Coin front was designed by Rianne Brown a member of 1st Port Coquitlam, Venturer Company. Logo on reverse side is the official logo of the Pacific Scout Jamboree.

Our Legacy coin is in celebration of the Centenary of Scouting as well as the 150th Birthday of Scouting’s founder Lord Baden Powell. Other Jamborees in 2007 included both the Canadian Scout Jamboree (CJ07) and the 21st World Jamboree held in the United Kingdom not far from Brownsea Island the birthplace of Scouting in 1907.
