About This Item

Over the years about half of the travel bugs I have placed have simply disappeared. This brings me much sadness. One of them, The Triolobug especially makes me sad. Actually - that ones pisses me off. It was so cool, it had been through so much. I would love to see that bug again.

Well for the other, I figured it was time. Time to resurrect a few of the missing bugs and put them in a race. There is a collection of 5 travel bugs. They will be started in a cache in Pennsylvania and their goal is to race back to Utah.

I actually want them to race back to this cache - The Don't Worry Be Happy Cache! This is one of our first caches. And one of our favorites. Easy to get to most of the year and fun to visit.

The five bugs that are in the race are -
Race Back to Utah - Jaguar
Race Back to Utah - Lexus
Race Back to Utah - Range Rover
Race Back to Utah - Porsche
Race Back to Utah - Mercedes

Please - keep these guys moving - don't let them get lost. And check back to see who wins!

Since these bugs are recycled...I've left the original logs. Placed and then picked them up from Don't Worry Be Happy and I will then place them in a cache somewhere in Pennsylvania.

I'm also tracking the progress of each of these Tb's on THIS PAGE

Stopped by Become Akamai after seeing the question on the TB. Cache is there in good shape, but bad news, no Denny Kroner. Nothing in the logs about anyone picking it up. Hopefully someone will log it in at another Cache soon!

Left Denny in an easy to find cache in Kihei, Maui. Hope the little guy makes it to Denmark. Aloha...Steve

Found the little Danish guy on a beautiful Grass Valley morning. I believe he will head toward Denmark via Maui. We're headed over next week. Aloha...Steve

Thought I would take Denny to a warmer location to await his ride over seas. Was going to Utah in August, but that would be going the wrong way. Maybe Ill take him to the upper midwestern states. We shall talk about it and get him going the right way. -RB

I was just dropping off another TB I had taken all over Europe (you can check out his photos under my profile) when I realized Denny Kroner was hiding under all the MB cards. I thought it was an appropriate trade. Unfortunately I don't have any immediate trips back to Europe so he will have to get there the hard way - one cache at a time.

  • Denny Kroner TB I was the first one to find this TB after it was placed. I've never done that before. It makes it a special find.
