About This Item

Summer front.jpg

Due to the amount of "coin stealing" that happens, I am now keeping my coins with me. I am planning on making laminated copies to send out to caches. I know that's not a cool as actually finding the coin, but I simply cannot afford to buy coins for other people to steal!

Yes, I am over two years late on cleaning out a file of trackable ID's that I have collected over the years of going to events! 🙂 Discovered this at an event or in a cache in the Nashville, TN area. Thanks!

Moving this along to Augusta, GA, after a long journey in middle Tennessee. It has been a while since I have been able to move this along. Dropped my GPS unit off my motorcycle at 55 mph, and by the time I got back to pick it up from the road, I watched as what was left of the GPS unit departed from under the front tire of a passing car. Before I could get a replacement unit, my house flooded in the Nashville floods. Life is back to normal - no water in the house, and I have replaced my GPS. Not to move this virtual coin along.

I completly understand why you are making proxies of your coins. I am now doing the same thing with all of my coins. [I would however add the work proxie to the name of the coin. I have heard that people can get upset if they go for a particular coin and find that it's a proxy.]

Found this one in the Laceys Spring area while on vacation.
My father lived off Dry Creek Rd so this was a nice find for us.
I've had several MIA coins also so we think this is a great idea. Will move along soon : )
