Current Goal

Hewitt is a school project for my third grade son's class at Hewitt Trussville Elementary School, Home of the Huskies. Hewitt would like to get as much travel as possible, and his progress will be tracked by the class on a chart. As the school year end approaches, Hewitt would like to return and tell about his adventures.

About This Item

Hewitt Trussville School is the pride of Trussville, Alabama, a small community east of Birmingham. Hewitt Husky is a representative of the school for the class. As the school year ends, I would like to get him mailed back to us so he can be presented proudly to the entire school to detail his travels. Place him quickly from cache to cache and lets see how many places he can go. Take your photo with him and we will present it on the project as well. Go Hewitt!

Found Hewitt today with the kids and will pass it along soon. He is covered in buttons from all over the world and has held up nicely to be 5 years old.

Hewitt Husky is back in Alabama after traveling around the world. He has picked up many badges from all over the place, Britain, Germany ... I discovered him in Brattleboro, VT, with a note that he wanted to return to Alabama. It seems he is three years too late! So as it turns out this travel bug really got the travel bug and wants to continue on to more new adventures. It will be interesting to see where he will go next! I placed him in a cache in Spain Park (AKA Veterans' Park) in Hoover, AL ... Please don't let him stay too long!
