I loved it!
I really had a great time and I am so glad that everyone enjoyed themselves. We have a good group of cachers in Conway County and I am proud to be one of them. The day started off a little strange, but it just got better. If you were there you know what I am talking about, if not I am sure that you will hear about it very soon.

As always it was good to visit with everyone and to receive that “Soap Box” from Cachemates, that made my day. Good times and fond memories are the best part of caching and today was a perfect example of that. I would like to thank all the cachers who donated to the event and the sponsors who also helped out. Had a lot of fun today and was sorry when it was over.
Thanks for making such great memories and a wonderful day, it would not have happened without you.

Retrieve It from a Cache 10/1/2008 AR-HICK retrieved it from The Earl of Conway County Arkansas   Visit Log

The first drop for me in rklmbl cache. Carring it along with me on my cache adventures. Copy of my log for it.
Before I left my workshop I decide to listen to the news from the town Crier. I was surprised when he told that the King had placed a valuable object for all cachers to find. When he told me of its location and name I was shocked and new that I must try to locate this precious object.
I watered my horses before the long trip and started my adventure. I was pushing them hard trying to beat the other locals to this hidden treasure. Over hill and fields we went crossing flowing rivers and onward we charged. The night air was cool and my horses were steady in there pursuit of this precious object. After what seemed like an eternity we arrived very close to the treasure placed with great care and thought. I didn’t even tie the up as I leaped from my wagon and made haste to the prize. Good placement for I found no briars or thorns just the object of my desire. Searching high and low and wondering which way I should go checking everywhere and just before I lost all hope I found the precious treasure. It was sparkling in the faint like a diamond and I knew that my quest was almost done. I carefully opened the small treasure and found the purest virgin white paper in all the land, no one has be smudged it with dirty fingers or foul ink. It was glowing it was so white and pure and I found it hard for my shaking fingers to taint it with my fine pen. Of course I did before someone else did. I was careful and considerate with a smile of satisfaction upon my face as I tried to replace the cache.
Then a blaze of light was shown upon me and I did not know what had happened, I was still in awe of the fine treasure and when I awoke from my mesmerized state realizing that it was a pack of nasty muggles barreling towards me at great speed. I dodged them and hid in a nearby bush hoping not to be seen. They stopped and looked around and then quickly took off just like they had came. I can only guess that they did not feel like giving chase to me and let me be, I could hear them talking and was unable to make out what they were speaking.
Carefully I replaced this fine treasure for the next cacher to find with one exception, my name in the first spot on the finest paper in all the land. Thank you for bestowing this great honor upon me and allowing me to see such fine paper like none we have in my homeland.

Retrieve It from a Cache 9/27/2008 AR-HICK retrieved it from Searcy's Second Annual Meet & Greet Arkansas   Visit Log

What a great time, WOW! I don’t know how they do it, but this year was better than last years. Lots of time for enjoying the hospitality of Searcy Cachers, visiting and seeing some Old friends and meeting New ones.
Wonderful weather + wonderful folks = Great Time!
If everyone had as much fun as I did they are still smiling. The Cache auction was great and a lot of fun, the hot dogs were delicious and I did not see anything wrong all day. I would like to thank everyone who helped with this a successful event in any way, Hick is still smiling.

Starting this coin off where I won it.
