Ventured to the Minneapolis Sculpture garden where we found the sculpture “For Whom…” whose description in adventurelab says, “Sculpture: For Whom ...
Artist: Kris Martin; Belgium, b. 1972
Artwork: 2012
Materials: bronze bell, steel, magnetic motor, wood

The large bell was originally cast for a small church in southern Germany, but was left for salvage when it didn't produce the right tone. The artist reclaimed the work and removed the clapper, thus muting it. The bell is now programmed to sway on the hour in its own silent rhythm.)

Loved the German connection here as it is this trackable’s home 🤍 Note that you can also see the steeple of the Basilica in the back!
