I retrieved the Hippie Bus from Sign of a Cache. It wasn't easy. I took the wrong road & ended up on the wrong side of the canal. Luckily there wasn't any water in it because it is still winter in our neck of the woods. I didn't want to drive back around to the correct road to get to a cache that was only about 100 yards away. So, through the canal I went, on foot. Both sides were steep with one side loose & sandy & the other side muddy. Through the barbed wire fence & up another small rise through the sage brush. I grabbed the Hippie Bus because I was going to an Event the next day & I planned on trading with someone going east. When I got home, I realized I didn't have the coin with me. The following day, after the morning breakfast event, I nervously drove the 20 miles out to the cache location to retrace my steps. All along I thought of how I would break the news to the coin owner/s that I had carelessly lost the coin. Down the canal bank, across the canal, up the other muddy side, through the weeds & the barbed wire fence, up the next rise through the sage brush & there it was. I had dropped it less than 20 feet from the cache. A 40 mile trip & a little walk, but I was relieved that I didn't have to do no explaining. I will place the geocoin in a TB hotel next to I-84 & get it on the way. Hope you win!
